Djanogly City Academy Founders Day 2016
The annual celebration recognises the talents, skills and determination of pupils and students who have shown exceptional commitment and success. This year, 41 pupils and students received awards, at the ceremony on October 13th, from Djanogly City, Djanogly Northgate and Djanogly Strelley academies.
Ron Kenyon, Chairman, Djanogly Learning Trust, said: “We are committed to nurturing our pupils and students to help them reach their potential. This year’s award winners are an inspiration, and I am very proud of their achievements. I also want to thank staff and parents for their support, which has resulted in significant progress across our academies including the last year.”
The Founder’s Day ceremony recognises achievement and success across a range of categories including enterprise and employability, hairdressing, performing arts, science, technology and sport, in addition to attitude to learning, and qualities such as perseverance.
Students across all the age groups were very pleased and proud of there achievement.
