Summary: Nova Education Trust board are seeking to appoint a number of new directors (trustees) to ensure we have the capacity and skills to oversee the next phase of the trust’s development. The roles are unpaid voluntary positions. Board members are expected to attend four board meetings per year, but also to participate in the life of the organisation between board meetings, commit to training and act in an ambassadorial role for the Nova Education Trust. Board meetings are currently held week days in Nottingham. Positions are advertised for a period of four years (term may be renewed). Each Director is also expected to serve on one of the sub-committees which also meet termly. Agenda papers are usually circulated a week before meetings and Directors are expected to have read papers in preparation for the meeting.
