Djanogly became a Duke of Edinburgh direct licensed centre in 2019
At Djanogly City Academy we strive to become a Duke of Edinburgh licenced centre of 'Excellence'. We are currently providing the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze award to our year 9 and 10 scholars. We are offering in-house skills and physical activities run by our staff within school time. The volunteering section can be completed after school on Fridays or over the weekends. The expedition training will take part during school time, scholars will learn map and compass reading, putting up a tent and using a Trangia (Cooking stove). All are assessed and monitored by our Duke of Edinburgh manager and assistant managers.
