• Thursday 16 March 2023 DCA Scholars Meet the Duke of Edinburgh Yesterday some of our DofE scholars got the chance to meet the new DofE patron, and newly titled, Duke of Edinburgh at Stonebridge City Farm. They decorated stones for the sensory garden and our scholars discussed with the Duke about their DofE experiences. He was genuinely interested in what they had to say. They even persuaded him to finish one of their stones as illustrated below.

• Wednesday 12 October 2022 Sir Vince Cable visits Djanogly City Academy Sixth Form Yesterday Year 11, 12 & 13 were lucky enough to take part in a talk delivered by Sir Vince Cable. The talk touched on a career in politics as well as the resilience, drive and determination needed to be successful in the political world. This was followed by a Q&A session with incredibly mature and probing questions from our scholars! We’d like to thank Sir Vince Cable as well as Speakers For Schools for supporting this opportunity. We look forward to welcoming many more guest speakers to Djanogly City Academy.
